have hoped for. <\/p>\n<p>Following a third-round exit at the US Open, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/emma-raducanu-reveals-reason-why-she-really-withdrew-from-britains-bjk-cup-team\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Raducanu withdrew from the Billie Jean King Cup<\/a> to feature at the Korea Open.<\/p>\n<p>There, the Briton won her opening match against Jaqueline Cristian, but suffered defeat to former Wimbledon champion Barbora Krejcikova in round two. <\/p>\n<p>Now, amid <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/emma-raducanu-causes-concern-after-what-she-told-fans-following-her-practice-at-the-china-open\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Raducanu\u2019s injury concerns<\/a>, the world number 32 is set to appear at the penultimate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/wta\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WTA<\/a> 1000 event of the 2025 season, where she has been handed a nightmare draw. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"641\" round and will come up against either a qualifier or Donna Vekic. <\/p>\n<p>After that, however, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/emma-raducanu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Raducanu<\/a> finds herself on a collision course with several big stars, including WTA number seven <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/jessica-pegula\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jessica Pegula<\/a>, who she could meet in round three. <\/p>\n<p>Her fourth round opponent could come in the form of US Open semifinalist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/naomi-osaka\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Naomi Osaka<\/a>, and should she make it to the quarterfinals, the 22-year-old will likely face six-time major champion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/iga-swiatek\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Iga Swiatek<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Raducanu\u2019s quarter of the draw also includes the likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/emma-navarro\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Emma Navarro<\/a> and Anna Kalinskaya, both of whom will feature a star-studded lineup, with eight of the world\u2019s top ten players competing at the event. <\/p>\n<p>Seeded first is Swiatek, who kicked off her Asian swing by clinching the 25th title of her career at the Korea Open. <\/p>\n<p>French Open champion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/coco-gauff\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Coco Gauff<\/a>, US Open finalist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/amanda-anisimova\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amanda Anisimova<\/a>, and world number five <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/mirra-andreeva\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mirra Andreeva<\/a> make up seeds two, three and four. <\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s China Open semifinalist Qinwen Zheng will make her return to the tournament as the seventh seed, as well as fifth seeded Pegula, who was knocked out in the fourth round in 2024. <\/p>\n<p>Billie Jean King Cup winner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/jasmine-paolini\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jasmine Paolini<\/a> will enter Beijing as the sixth seed, while Elena
