CINCINNATI, September 22, 2025–(BUSINESS WIRE<\/a>)–When the Cincinnati Convention Center reopens following an extensive $264 million renovation, altafiber\u2019s 10 gigabit diverse fiber-enabled Dedicated Internet and Wi-Fi technology will be running behind the scenes to support the facility\u2019s goal of serving as a gateway for residents and visitors to Greater Cincinnati.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n altafiber\u2019s network will feature 28 miles of Cat6A cable running throughout the 750,000-square-foot Convention Center. Among the features:<\/p>\n 3 levels \u2013 The multi-level concourse provides easy access to exhibit space, meeting rooms, and ballroom levels<\/p>\n Exhibition Space \u2013 200,000 contiguous square feet.<\/p>\n Cincinnatus Ballroom \u2013 40,000 square feet, one of the largest in the Midwest.<\/p>\n Queen City Ballroom \u2013 17,400 square feet to comfortably host smaller groups.<\/p>\n Brand New Rooftop Terrace that overlooks the city.<\/p>\n Plans also call for the construction of a new 700-room Marriott hotel just south of the Convention Center. Hotel construction will start later this year.
