Hulk Hogan<\/a>\u2019s wife, Melanie Sky Daily, told a Florida judge she was on board with the late wrestler\u2019s son Nick Hogan<\/a> taking control of his estate worth over $5 million, Us Weekly can exclusively report.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, September 18, Daily, 47, filed court documents stating she is the widow of Hulk (real name: Terry Bollea) and has an \u201cinterest in this estate as the surviving spouse.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said she waived the right to a hearing on Nick, 35, being appointed as the coadministrator of Hulk\u2019s estate and consented to the petition he had filed. The other party working with Nick on managing Hulk\u2019s affairs is a man named Terry McCoy, a longtime associate of the late entertainer.<\/p>\n

Hulk died on July 24 at his home<\/a> in Clearwater, Florida, at the age of 71. His cause of death was listed as acute myocardial infarction.His death certificate listed him as a \u201cprofessional wrestler\u201d and revealed he had been cremated at a facility in Florida.<\/p>\n

As Us first reported, Nick filed his petition on September 9. He explained that his late father drafted his first will in 2016 but amended it in 2017, 2021, 2022 and a final time in July 2023.<\/p>\n

In the final edits to his will, executed on July 28, 2023, Hulk asked that his daughter, Brooke Hogan, be removed as a beneficiary of the estate.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnder no circumstances shall Brooke E. Bollea or any descendants of Brooke E. Bollea be considered a beneficiary or my last will and testament, and any reference in this last will and testament to my children or lineal descendants shall not include Brooke E. Bollea and the descendants of Brooke E. Bollea,\u201d the filing read.<\/p>\n

As Us previously reported, Brooke, 37, asked to be removed from the will<\/a> and did not want a cut of her father\u2019s estate.<\/p>\n

Following his death, Brooke spoke out about her famous father and their rocky relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us,\u201d Brooke said. \u201c\u2026 I know he\u2019s at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he\u2019d ever have.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nick\u2019s court documents revealed the 2021 amendment removed his ex-wife, Jennifer McDaniel, as a beneficiary.<\/p>\n

In his petition, Nick said Hulk left behind $799,000 in personal property, intellectual property valued at $4 million, $200,000 in cryptocurrency and an unknown value for a potential medical malpractice lawsuit. The petition did not list Hulk\u2019s massive home in Florida worth an estimated $11 million.<\/p>\n

TMZ<\/a> reported that Daily is expected to file a medical malpractice lawsuit over a surgery Hulk had months before his death. Daily believes the surgery was done wrong and could have led to Hulk\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

Daily spoke out after Hulk\u2019s death on social media. She said he had been dealing with \u201chealth issues\u201d but she had been confident he was making a recovery. \u201cI had so much faith in his strength,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI thought we still had more time.\u201d<\/p>\n

On July 27, Nick posted a nice message to Daily<\/a> on Instagram on her birthday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you so much Sky, I really appreciate everything you did for my father and are doing for all of us at this time,\u201d he commented on a photo she posted with Hulk.<\/p>\n
