The new data centers will bring Stargate\u2019s planned capacity to seven gigawatts \u2014 enough energy to power more than five million homes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three of the new sites are being developed with Oracle. They\u2019re located in Shackelford County, Texas; Do\u00f1a Ana County, New Mexico;\u00a0and an undisclosed location in the Midwest. The other two sites are being developed with SoftBank, with one in Lordstown, Ohio and the other in Milam County, Texas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new Stargate AI data centers are part of OpenAI\u2019s massive infrastructure buildout, as the company works to train and serve more powerful AI models.
