We\u2019re going back, back to the beginning<\/a>: The cast of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County is reuniting to celebrate the reality show\u2019s 20th anniversary.<\/p>\n

Tentatively titled Roku Presents: The Laguna Beach Reunion, the special, announced on Wednesday<\/a>, is set to debut in 2026. The two-hour event will reunite the original stars of the hit series, including Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti, who will also executive-produce the reunion. Lo Bosworth, Talan Torriero, Trey Philips, Christina Shuller, Dieter Schmitz, Jessica Smith and Alex Hooser will also reunite to reflect on the beloved series.<\/p>\n

Created by Liz Gateley, Laguna Beach aired on MTV for three seasons, from 2004 to 2006. The reality television show, inspired by the success of Fox\u2019s scripted, Orange County-set teen drama, The O.C., followed the lives of real high schoolers in the affluent, coastal community of Laguna Beach, Calif. Conrad, Cavallari and Colletti formed the main love triangle of the first two seasons.<\/p>\n

Laguna Beach launched two successful spinoffs: The Hills, which ran from 2006 to 2010, and The City, which ran from 2008 to 2010. The Hills initially revolved around Conrad, who moved from Laguna Beach to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of working in fashion, all while balancing friendships and romance. When Conrad left the series, Cavallari took over as the lead. The City starred Whitney Port, Conrad\u2019s friend and colleague at Teen Vogue, as she navigated the fashion industry in New York City.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I first pitched the show to my bosses at MTV, never in a million years did I think we would find such a perfect group of real friends. The show not only changed my life and the cast\u2019s lives, but the series meant so much to a generation of fans who\u2019ve been waiting for this,\u201d Gateley, who will also executive-produce the reunion special, said in a statement. \u201cTo partner with Roku to reunite the cast and produce this special with Lauren, Stephen and Kristin as executive producers 20 years later is a dream.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reunion special will be available to stream for free on Roku devices and online at TheRokuChannel.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The original stars of Laguna Beach have since weighed in on the upcoming reunion. Conrad confirmed the news on Instagram<\/a>, where she posted a series of throwback photos from their senior prom.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s go back to the beginning\u2026 Reuniting the cast of Laguna Beach, coming to the Roku Channel in 2026,\u201d Conrad wrote on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Colletti, who previously starred on One Tree Hill, celebrated the reunion announcement as well, sharing his own throwback photos on Instagram<\/a>, which include an image of Laguna Beach Season 1 on DVD. Cavallari took a similar approach, sharing the same photo<\/a> as Conrad on Instagram, alongside the caption, \u201cGuessssss what!!!! The OG cast of laguna beach is back for a reunion special! It\u2019ll be on Roku in 2026. Going back to the beginning!\u201d<\/p>\n
