\n\tAs Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> gets back into the swing of things, his regularly scheduled jokes about President Donald Trump<\/a> have resumed.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Wednesday\u2019s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a>, following a major viewership boost<\/a> for ABC<\/a>, the comedian predicted Trump will \u201ctry to sue\u201d the network after he posted about the episode \u201cmoments after we taped our show.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou know, a lot of people watched our show last night. I had so many texts from so many people,\u201d he said in his opening monologue. \u201cIt made me realize how many of my friends are never watching the show at any other time. Tomorrow, I\u2019ll hear from no one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel noted, \u201cI did hear from one very special friend,\u201d quoting \u201cthe mad red hatter\u201d after Trump previously lashed out<\/a> at ABC<\/a> once again in response to Kimmel\u2019s return. \u201cI can\u2019t believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back,\u201d Kimmel quoted the Truth Social post.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou can\u2019t believe they gave me my job back? I can\u2019t believe they gave you your job back! We\u2019re even,\u201d he declared to applause.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAs an audience member called out in support, Kimmel quipped, \u201cShut the fuck up. The freedom of speech is only for me. You do not interrupt the president.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel went on to pick apart the post, particularly where Trump teased legal action. \u201cOnly Donald Trump would try to prove he wasn\u2019t threatening ABC by threatening ABC. And you almost have to feel sorry for the people who work for him, who try to clean up the messes. They\u2019ve been bending over backwards,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tCalling out Trump\u2019s claim that his ratings got him fired, Kimmel said, \u201cHas anyone ever been fired for bad ratings on a Wednesday?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe does know bad ratings. He has some of the worst ratings any president has ever had. So, on behalf of all of us, welcome to the \u2018Crappy Ratings Club\u2019, Mr. President,\u201d Kimmel continued. \u201cNext, he\u2019ll try to sue us. And I wanna say, good luck with that. Because we thought about it, we packed the courts. And we have a surprise ace up our sleeve, Mr. Judge Steve Harvey. Survey says, you lose.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSadly, the truth is, no one wants to face Donald Trump in court. That\u2019s where he\u2019s his most flatulent,\u201d added Kimmel.<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel called Trump \u201can old-fashioned 80s movie style bully\u201d as he made another point, \u201cFor those who think I go too hard Donald Trump, to the point where there are still a lot of people who think I should be pulled off the air for making Donald Trump. So, I want to explain, I talk about Trump more than anything because he\u2019s a bully.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTrump added in his latest Truth Social rant<\/a> about Kimmel, \u201cThe White House was told by ABC that his Show was cancelled! Something happened between then and now because his audience is GONE, and his \u2018talent\u2019 was never there. Why would they want someone back who does so poorly, who\u2019s not funny, and who puts the Network in jeopardy by playing 99% positive Democrat GARBAGE. He is yet another arm of the DNC and, to the best of my knowledge, that would be a major Illegal Campaign Contribution. I think we\u2019re going to test ABC out on this. Let\u2019s see how we do. Last time I went after them, they gave me $16 Million Dollars. This one sounds even more lucrative,\u201d added Trump. \u201cA true bunch of losers! Let Jimmy Kimmel rot in his bad Ratings.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDespite more ramblings about bad ratings, Jimmy Kimmel Live! returned to air<\/a> Tuesday after his brief suspension, driving 6.26 million viewers<\/a>. That\u2019s without the 23% of U.S. households where affiliates Nexstar and Sinclair are still preempting<\/a> the late-night talk show.<\/p>\n

\n\tKimmel\u2019s return comes after ABC announced the show was \u201cpreempted indefinitely<\/a>,\u201d which many criticized as an attack on free speech, following the FCC\u2019s warning about the late-night host\u2019s Charlie Kirk comments<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tKnown for his \u2018Prove Me Wrong\u2019 debates and MAGA POV, Kirk was shot dead<\/a> at Utah Valley University on September 10 in a tragedy that has sent shockwaves through the political and media worlds.<\/p>\n
