In the description<\/a> of the \u201c Real Story Behind the Measles Outbreak\u201d webinar, Rebel Lion describes the video as an \u201curgent discussion \u2026 unpacking the latest measles outbreak in Texas and exposing what mainstream media refuses to report,\u201d including questions like \u201cIs this a mutated bioweapon?\u201d and \u201cAre vaccinated individuals more vulnerable?\u201d<\/p>\n

Journalists have described Sears as a \u201cconservative, anti-vaccine comic<\/a>\u201d and \u201cthe clown prince of wellness.<\/a>\u201d In his comedy sketches, Sears has implied that vaccines cause autism<\/a>, that COVID-19 boosters are intended to depopulate the world<\/a>, and that mRNA vaccines are ineffective<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Roy, who owns the \u201cRebel Lion\u201d trademark<\/a>, doesn\u2019t seem to have a significant history as a public persona online. Instead, he seems to bring the marketing expertise<\/a> to the Rebel Lion project.<\/p>\n

In May, Rebel Lion released a film<\/a> that featured Dr. Ben Edwards and Dr. Richard Bartlett, who have downplayed the threat of measles, and Pierre Kory, whose certification was revoked<\/a> by the American Board of Internal Medicine for his promotion of ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19.<\/p>\n

Edwards reportedly<\/a> treated measles patients in Texas, including children, with cod liver oil while reportedly<\/a> having an active measles infection himself.<\/p>\n

Bartlett has suggested<\/a> that the measles vaccine could cause measles and that<\/a> reporting on the rise in measles is a \u201cmisinformation, disinformation campaign to character-assassinate RFK and the Make America Healthy Again movement.\u201d During the \u201cReal Story Behind the Measles Outbreak\u201d webinar, Willis asked Bartlett<\/a>: \u201cShould we stop all measles vaccines and let children get natural immunity?\u201d Bartlett didn\u2019t seem to answer the answer directly, but he said: \u201cParents deserve to know all the information. \u2026 We\u2019re supposed to as doctors give informed consent. As far as vaccines, it\u2019s again an individual decision. Traditional vaccines made with a live virus or a live weakened virus make sense to me. But there\u2019s a risk. They\u2019re live measles viruses. Live measles viruses cause measles.\u201d He added that \u201cevery risk of measles can happen with the MR vaccine. And you\u2019re not gonna hear that on CNN.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the May film, Kory argued<\/a> that \u201cmeasles is essentially just a rash. It was one of the most common childhood illnesses. It\u2019s not lethal by any stretch of the imagination. Over 90% of kids with measles will suffer no complications. And the few that do, those complications are easily treatable.\u201d<\/p>\n
