The content, expected to debut on iQiyi as early as the first quarter of 2026, would receive promotional support and qualify to share in any net profits generated.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Pau said at an event in Shanghai on Thursday that AI-generated content was \u201cspearheading a visual revolution\u201d, while iQiyi founder and CEO Gong Yu said \u201cthe moment when AI disrupts long-form and short-form video is imminent\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"September has seen a slew of Chinese tech giants join the bandwagon for AI video generation. Last week, Tencent\u2019s video unit launched an \u201cAI short film competition\u201d for content with a minimum duration of one minute that had at least 70 per cent of the content generated by AI.
