On Thursday, it emerged that a 12-person consortium, headed up by tech entrepreneur Brooklyn Earick, launched a takeover bid worth \u00a33.3 billion to buy Spurs<\/a>.<\/p>\n It was explained that, in addition to the offer, the consortium had set aside an additional \u00a31.2 billion to be spent on improving the Spurs first-team squad<\/a>, bringing the total potential expenditure to \u00a34.5 billion.<\/p>\n However, The Independent\u2019s Miguel Delaney<\/a> has now claimed that Spurs<\/a> are yet to receive any new offer for the club, despite the rumours about the bid from the American consortium.<\/p>\n We know this because the 13 per cent shares of Tottenham, which is not owned by ENIC, remain publicly traded, which means the club is subject to the UK Takeover Code.<\/p>\n As a result, any expression of interest in buying the North London club or any offer must be lodged with the Takeover Code panel and made public.<\/p>\n So far, the Lewis family trust has not been made aware of any other interest in buying the club following the two rejected offers earlier this month.<\/p>\n The Lewis family are open to outside investment in Tottenham<\/p>\n![\"Tottenham](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/flag44-1024x683.jpg\")
