The Ravens are heading to Kansas City without three starters and have more questions beyond that. They could, however, have a couple key returns.<\/p>\n
Baltimore ruled out defensive tackles Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) and Broderick Washington Jr. (ankle) on Friday. Nose tackle Travis Jones (knee) is questionable after logging back-to-back limited practices.<\/p>\n
Coming off a game in which they allowed 224 rushing yards to the Detroit Lions, the Ravens are short-handed up front and will lean more heavily upon 36-year-old John Jenkins and sixth-round rookie Aeneas Peebles.<\/p>\n
“His reps will go up, for sure, and he’s ready,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said of Jenkins. “He’s practiced really well, and he’s a decorated vet and a really good player. He’s done a great job, so we’re expecting a really good game from him.”<\/p>\n
Outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy (hamstring) and left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) both returned to limited practice Friday and are questionable to play Sunday.<\/p>\n
If Stanley can’t play, veteran Joe Noteboom, who has started 35 games over eight seasons, would likely step in at left tackle against the Chiefs’ aggressive defense, led up front by defensive tackle Chris Jones and defensive end George Karlaftis.<\/p>\n
“He’s doing well. He’s in that day-to-day world right now,” Harbaugh said of Stanley. “We’ll see.
