I wouldn\u2019t necessarily call Martha Stewart<\/a> a woman of humility<\/a>. But when it comes to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce\u2019s wedding<\/a>, it seems America\u2019s favorite homemaker no longer wants to be involved. Last month, after the couple announced in a joint Instagram post that they\u2019d gotten engaged, Stewart jokingly offered up<\/a> her services as \u201cthe ultimate wedding planner.\u201d But based on an appearance<\/a> on The Drew Barrymore Show this week, she seems to have realized that this would actually be a nightmare. When Barrymore suggested Stewart lend some of her decorative expertise to the wedding of the year, she responded, \u201cDrew, I would never be so presumptuous as to suggest that I do their wedding.\u201d She added politely, \u201cI mean, if they want me to do their wedding, of course I would do their wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I\u2019m not a wedding planner,\u201d she added. \u201cBut I am a wedding expert, and I could probably create a special \u2026 they\u2019re gonna do such a great job.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stewart went on to praise Swift\u2019s \u201chuge performances\u201d and her \u201camazing\u201d work ethic, hinting that the singer and billionaire probably doesn\u2019t need little ol\u2019 Martha to make sure things go off without a hitch. Barrymore, however, gently pushed back. \u201cIf you were to take on anything, I just know nothing\u2019s going to get screwed up,\u201d she said. \u201cYou\u2019re Martha Stewart. It doesn\u2019t get better.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, clearly Stewart disagrees. She made similar comments about Traylor\u2019s upcoming nuptials while speaking to TMZ on Wednesday \u2014 when the reporter asked<\/a> if Stewart had a vision for their wedding, she replied, \u201cI think the dear vocalist knows what she\u2019s doing.\u201d Doubling down, she added, \u201cShe doesn\u2019t need me \u2026 She has Travis.\u201d What I\u2019m gathering is that Martha is either too busy launching a skin-care company<\/a> or, more likely, that she\u2019s just not in the mood for all the fuss. She\u2019d probably rather light one up with Snoop than have to figure out where to seat all three of the Haim sisters.<\/p>\n
