\n\tOn Saturday, Meryl Streep<\/a> sat front row at the Dolce & Gabbana\u00a0fashion show in Milan, Italy, in full costume as her iconic character, Runway magazine editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. Backstage, Streep\u2019s Priestly met with Vogue\u2018s Anna Wintour<\/a>, who was the inspiration behind Priestly.<\/p>\n \n\tVogue took to Instagram to post a video of the viral moment with the caption, writing, \u201cCan you please spell Gabbana? Of course they can. Today in Milan, legendary Runway magazine editor Miranda Priestly caught up with Vogue\u2019s Anna Wintour following the spring 2026\u00a0@dolcegabbana\u00a0show.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn the video, Priestly says to Wintour, \u201cYou look so beautiful,\u201d and \u201cThis is my first fashion show.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAlong with Streep, Stanley Tucci<\/a> was also front row and went backstage to greet Wintour. He was in costume as Nigel, Runway\u2018s art director. According to the Associated Press<\/a>, the Dolce & Gabbana press office confirmed that the actor\u2019s were there to film a runway show in Milan for the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe highly anticipated follow-up to the 2006 movie will follow Runway\u2019s struggle with the decline of print magazines. Also returning for the film<\/a> are Anne Hathaway as Andy and Emily Blunt as Emily, who were both assistants to Priestly. In the sequel, Blunt\u2019s Emily is now a powerful advertising executive who works with the publication.<\/p>\n
