Selena Gomez\u2019s mom, Mandy Teefey, is said to be disappointed by a decision the singer and actress made for her wedding to Benny Blanco.<\/p>\n

\u201cSelena\u2019s mother and her stepfather Brian were shattered she didn\u2019t choose her mother to walk her down the aisle,\u201d an insider told the Daily Mail <\/a>of the Disney Channel alum\u2019s nuptials on Saturday. \u201cIn a shock move she chose her grandfather David [Cornett] to give her away to Benny.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider added that \u201cDavid and his wife Debbie broke down in tears of joy when she asked him. Selena made the decision as soon as they started planning the wedding.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reps for Teefey and Gomez did not immediately return Page Six\u2019s requests for comment on the alleged snub.<\/p>\n

Gomez, 33, exchanged vows with music producer Blanco<\/a>, 37, in a star-studded celebration today at a private estate in Santa Barbara, Calif., attended by Taylor Swift<\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n

Family and friends gathered Friday evening for a rehearsal dinner<\/a> held at an estate in Hope Ranch in Goleta Valley, Calif. The \u201cOnly Murders in the Building\u201d actress\u2019s co-stars Martin Short, Paul Rudd and Steve Martin were snapped leaving their hotel for the soir\u00e9e in semi-formalwear.<\/p>\n

Gomez and Blanco\u2019s closely-guarded nuptials <\/a>reportedly include a weekend-long celebration, during which guests \u2014 with the exception of Swift, who a source told Page Six will be staying in a private rental <\/a>home for security purposes \u2014 are staying at the lavish El Encanto hotel in Montecito.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll the guests will be picked up and driven to the location without knowing their destination ahead of time,\u201d an insider told the Sun earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Gomez\u2019s BFF Swift kicked off the highly anticipated weekend by arriving under the cover of a cluster of black umbrellas<\/a> at a Santa Barbara airport on Friday afternoon \u2014 with a white box in tow.<\/p>\n

Teefey, 49, is known for her sacrifices in encouraging Gomez\u2019s career as an actress and singer \u2014 she gave birth to the Rare Beauty founder at 16, and raised her as a single mother.<\/p>\n

Despite the alleged snub, Gomez and Blanco admitted in a joint interview earlier this year that Teefey played a major part in her romance<\/a> with her new husband.<\/p>\n

Blanco added, \u201cAnd we first had music come out in 2013 or something. Her mom set up a meeting between the two of us. This is right when I became big and she wasn\u2019t a singer yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two remained \u201cpals\u201d before their relationship turned into something more after Blanco attended the hitmaker\u2019s 31st birthday party <\/a>in 2023.<\/p>\n
