He averaged 13.3 PPG, 4.6 RPG and 1.7 SPG during this past season, providing a perfect complement to star guard Walter Clayton Jr.

He began his career at Belmont, where he played one season before transferring to Florida. He started 135 of his 141 career college games, and averaged 11.9 PPG throughout his four college seasons.

The Warriors are a team that has to deal with some financial issues as guys like Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler all have big contracts. Paying guys like that means they have to get quality play from young draft picks. Richard showed in summer league that his 3-point shot is improving, and he has a chance to be a part of the Warriors’ rotation in the near future.

Former Florida guard Will Richard was drafted by the Golden State Warriors with the No. 56 pick in…

[64
355,99
post-189460","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-nba","tag-nba","tag-sports
["GET
