It is expected to strengthen a bit and could become a hurricane on Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p>The storm will stay off of our coastline today, but will bring rough conditions along our coast and beaches. <\/p>\n<p>A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for our offshore waters.<\/p>\n<p>We have a High Surf Advisory is in effect for the Treasure Coast. There is also a Wind Advisory in effect for Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River County today. <\/p>\n<p>Winds will be out of the northeast, sustained near 20-25 mph. Higher gusts near 30 mph are expected. <\/p>\n<p>Brief downpours are possible today with the outer rain bands moving onshore.
