Brown turned <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/inner-excellence-becomes-no-1-bestseller-after-a-j-brown-reads-it-on-the-bench\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Inner Excellence<\/a> into a best seller while reading it on the bench. After Sunday\u2019s win over the Buccaneers, he quoted from the best-selling book of all time.<\/p>\n<p>Brown tweeted a line from the New Testament: \u201cIf you\u2019re not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw. Don\u2019t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Via Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the tweet was directed \u201cat <a class=\"Link\" href=\"www.inquirer.com\/eagles\/eagles-jalen-hurts-aj-brown-offense-struggles-20250929.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">someone or someones internally<\/a> with the Eagles.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brown was targeted nine times on Sunday, resulting in only two catches for seven yards. Although he had six reception for 109 yards and a touchdown in the Week 3 rally against the Rams, Brown had one catch (on one target) for eight yards in Week 1 vs. Dallas and five catches for 27 yards at Kansas City in Week 2.<\/p>\n<p>Last December, then-Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham publicly disclosed the existence of \u201c<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/brandon-graham-things-have-changed-between-jalen-hurts-and-a-j-brown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">personal stuff<\/a>\u201d between Brown and quarterback Jalen Hurts. Graham added that Brown and Hurts were \u201cfriends before this\u201d but \u201cthings have changed.\u201d Graham then attempted to <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/brandon-graham-i-had-it-wrong-about-a-j-brown-jalen-hurts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">put the toothpaste back in the tube<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There currently seems to be a toothpaste spillage, and it raises fair questions about the existence of short-term harmony in Philly \u2014 and Brown\u2019s short- and long-term future with the franchise.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"During the 2024 playoffs, Eagles receiver A.J.
