A video surfaced showing Rory McIlroy and the rest of the European team in their locker room at Bethpage, chanting: “Are you watching, are you watching Donald Trump<\/a>?” The news comes as Rory McIlroy wasted no time taking action with fan but Ryder Cup at fault.<\/a><\/p>\n

Trump, an avid golf enthusiast who made a high-profile appearance on the first day of the tournament, was indeed watching, reports the Daily Star.<\/p>\n

He shared the video on his Truth Social account and graciously accepted defeat, responding with a succinct four-word comment: “Yes, I’m watching. Congratulations!”<\/p>\n

Trump, known for his love of golf, was dressed to the nines as he boarded his Marine One helicopter to the Bethpage Black course in Long Island, New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before heading to the helicopter with his golfer granddaughter Kai Trump, 18, Trump spoke to reporters. But it was his choice of footwear – white golf shoes paired with a tieless black suit – that left social media users scratching their heads.<\/p>\n

One user joked: “He’s unhinged. He’s going to the Ryder cup and not playing in it. Weird.”<\/p>\n
