Raver-Lampman (\u201cThe Umbrella Academy,\u201d \u201cCentral Park\u201d) played Verona Parker, an FBI agent hot on the trailer of Statham\u2019s Adam, while Naderi (\u201cThe Better Sister\u201d) was Parker\u2019s partner, Agent Matt Wiley. Redgrave (\u201cDoctor Who,\u201d the upcoming spinoff \u201cThe War Between the Land and the Sea\u201d) played Jessica Danforth, the President of the United States, entangled in the deadly scheme. She was also the mother to Josh Hutcherson\u2019s Derek Danforth, who was the main antagonist of the first film.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tPlot details about \u201cThe Beekeeper 2,\u201d which will be distributed worldwide by Amazon MGM Studios and produced and financed by Miramax, are being kept under wraps, but the film is now in production.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe sequel is directed by Timo Tjahjanto (\u201cNobody 2,\u201d \u201cThe Shadow Strays\u201d) and written by Kurt Wimmer, who penned the first film.
