{"id":191760,"date":"2025-09-30T07:30:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T07:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/191760\/"},"modified":"2025-09-30T07:30:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T07:30:09","slug":"indiana-fever-star-aliyah-boston-returning-to-nbc-as-analyst","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/191760\/","title":{"rendered":"Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston returning to NBC as analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aliyah Boston, who has led the depleted Indiana Fever on an improbable run to a winner-take-all semifinal match against the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA playoffs on Tuesday, will be staying busy this offseason.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/frontofficesports.com\/fever-star-aliyah-boston-poised-nbc-peacock-deal\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a report by Michael McCarthy in Front Office Sports<\/a>, Boston will return to NBC Sports this fall to serve as a studio analyst and \u201cpossible\u201d game analyst for the network\u2019s coverage of Big Ten college basketball. Boston made her broadcast debut in the 2023-24 season for Peacock\u2019s women\u2019s college basketball coverage, and also joined ESPN\u2019s NCAA Women\u2019s Basketball Tournament coverage in 2024, earning <a href=\"https:\/\/awfulannouncing.com\/espn\/aliyah-boston-praised-espn-debut-dawn-staley.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">positive reception<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At just 23, Boston is well ahead of the curve when it comes to securing a career in media after her playing days come to a close. Of course, one of the benefits of the WNBA calendar is it allows active players to pursue media opportunities during the offseason, when women\u2019s and men\u2019s college basketball are in-season.
