After collapsing on stage during the All Things Go festival in Queens on September 27, British singer Lola Young<\/a> canceled a second performance for the same festival series the next day. \u201cI love this job and I never take my commitments and audience for granted so I\u2019m sorry to those who will be disappointed by this,\u201d Young wrote<\/a> on Sunday, just hours before she was set to go on stage in Washington, D.C.. \u201cI hope you\u2019ll all give me another chance in the future.\u201d Before this, she canceled a performance at the We Can Survive concert on September 26 \u201cdue to a sensitive matter,\u201d per her manager<\/a> Nick Shymansky. \u201cLola is very open about her mental health and there are very occasionally days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe,\u201d Shymansky continued. \u201cShe is an incredible person and always takes her fans, career and performances seriously. I can only send huge apologies for the inconvenience caused.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before the rising star collapsed during the song \u201cConceited,\u201d she addressed her recent show cancellation. \u201cToday I woke up and I made the decision to come here,\u201d Young explained<\/a>. \u201cI wanted to be, I wanted to perform, and I didn\u2019t want to wallow in my sadness. Sometimes life can throw you lemons and you just gotta motherfucking ing make lemonade.\u201d Later in the performance, Young was seemingly signaling to another band member on stage that something was wrong before she fell. Afterwards, she thanked her fans for their concern and said that she was \u201cdoing okay now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other performers at All Things Go, like Doechii, showed their support for Young. \u201cShe\u2019s an incredibly talented artist, and she wasn\u2019t feeling well tonight,\u201d Doechii said during her set. \u201cI\u2019m so glad you guys were there to support her and hold her up.\u201d Remi Wolf also told<\/a> her crowd that Young was backstage and doing \u201cokay.\u201d Online, Hayley Kiyoko commented<\/a>, telling the \u201cMessy\u201d singer to \u201ctake all the time that you need,\u201d while DJ Rezz got straight to the point: \u201cGIVE HER A DAY OFF.\u201d<\/p>\n
