But as of iOS 26, you can now finally choose exactly how long you want to snooze alarms for.<\/p>\n<p>Alarms gain option for custom snooze durations in iOS 26<\/p>\n<p>Apple\u2019s built-in Clock app is where most iPhone users turn for setting their daily alarms.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the default method. But despite that, there\u2019s been one glaring missing feature for years: the ability to set custom snooze durations.<\/p>\n<p>Historically, alarms could only be snoozed in 9-minute increments.<\/p>\n<p>I suspect most of us have just learned to live with that limitation, and in some cases set multiple alarms with this snooze time in mind.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ios-26-iphone-alarm-clock.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1006078\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>But in iOS 26, Apple has given users snooze control that they\u2019ve never had before.<\/p>\n<p>Now, every alarm you set can have its own custom snooze duration.<\/p>\n<p>You can choose any snooze time in a range from 1 minute up to 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The default setting is still 9 minutes, but you can change this with ease. <\/p>\n<p>And if you\u2019d like, this snooze setting can differ for each alarm you set.<\/p>\n<p>So depending on how important an alarm is on any given day, you can either make your snooze duration shorter or longer than usual.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, this represents a fairly small change for most, but it could make a big impact for users who have long wished for more flexibility when snoozing.<\/p>\n<p>Have you started using new snooze durations for your alarms in iOS 26?
