You can still feel the love on \u201cReba.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Sept. 27, Melissa Peterman, who played dim-witted Barbra Jean on the WB sitcom, shared photos of her with her castmates on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cDinner with friends is always good. Dinner with these friends is everything,\u201d she captioned a series of pictures<\/a> with her, Reba McEntire, JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Christopher Rich, along with McEntire\u2019s fianc\u00e9, Rex Linn,<\/a> and Rich\u2019s wife, Eva Halina Rich.<\/p>\n

Peterman added the hashtag #familyforever, along with a red heart emoji.<\/p>\n

\u201cGoodness, i love you all so much,\u201d Garcia Swisher wrote in the comments alongside a heart emoji.<\/p>\n

\u201cReba\u201d aired for six seasons from 2001 until 2007, beginning its run on The WB before airing on The CW for its final year. <\/p>\n

The show featured McEntire in the title role as a woman left to pick up the pieces after her husband, Brock (Rich), leaves her for his dental hygienist (Peterman). Garcia Swisher played Cheyenne, Reba and Brock\u2019s daughter. The show also starred Steve Howey as Cheyenne\u2019s boyfriend and Scarlett Pomers and Mitch Holleman as Brock and Reba\u2019s other kids.<\/p>\n

McEntire has not strayed too far from her \u201cReba\u201d family. She and Peterman co-star on NBC\u2019s \u201cHappy\u2019s Place,\u201d<\/a> which also features<\/a> Linn. Rich and Howey have also stopped by the sitcom in guest roles.<\/p>\n

Peterman and McEntire have also teamed up in \u201cWorking Class,\u201d \u201cThe Hammer\u201d and \u201cBaby Daddy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy\u2019s Place\u201d also features some people off-camera who worked on \u201cReba,\u201d but fans should not consider the two shows to be related to each other.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause this is the showrunner, the producers, everybody from the \u2018Reba\u2019 show is on this show,\u201d McEntire told TODAY.com<\/a> in October 2024 while explaining why a “Reba” reboot wasn’t in the works. \u201cI think it was a really good idea that we didn\u2019t try to do a remake, even though I miss all the other characters and the cast of the \u2018Reba\u2019 show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Peterman, Howey and Garcia Swisher also took in McEntire\u2019s concert<\/a> at the Hollywood Bowl in 2023.<\/p>\n
