This follows the <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2025\/08\/19\/google-wallet-id-montana\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">last launch<\/a> in August. <\/p>\n<p>Open the Google Wallet app, tap the Add to Wallet FAB (floating action button) in the corner, and then Driver\u2019s license or state ID. This reveals North Dakota as the ninth Google Wallet option. It joins Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Montana, and New Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of card design, it\u2019s a buffalo. Support for North Dakota was not announced ahead of time.<\/p>\n<p>As always, the set-up process involves taking photos of the front and back of your physical card, as well as a brief video of your face for verification that gets sent to the ND DOT. It will take a few minutes for it to be reviewed with a notification confirming once it\u2019s available. You\u2019ll also get an email confirmation from the agency.<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/p>\n<p>First, tap on the reader or scan your QR code: Your personal info won\u2019t be shared yet. On your phone, review what info you want to share.<\/p>\n<p>Next, review what info will be shared: Make sure you\u2019re comfortable sharing the info they request<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t need to hand your phone to anyone: Your ID will be securely shared using Bluetooth, so make sure it\u2019s on<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, verify it\u2019s you to share your info: For extra security, verify that this ID is yours using your face, fingerprint, password, or PIN<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDetails\u201d next to \u201cShow code\u201d lets you enable an \u201cActivity history,\u201d while \u201cDriver\u2019s License information\u201d lists license number, date of expiry, address, and more.<\/p>\n<p>IDs can be read via NFC or by having the QR code scanned. It is accepted in some airports by the TSA. Officially, you still have to carry your ID card as the one on your phone \u201cdoes not replace the requirement for individuals to carry a physical card.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Your device must be running Android 8+ and have a screen lock, with Bluetooth and Nearby devices enabled. A state ID can be deleted from Google Wallet anytime or remotely via <a href=\"https:\/\/myaccount.google.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">myaccount.google.com<\/a>.
