Alex Bregman made a bit of history just by taking the field for the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night in Yankee Stadium.<\/p>\n

The start at third base marked his 100th career postseason game.<\/p>\n

He’s the eighth player in MLB history to reach 100 postseason games played.<\/p>\n

Of course, the older versions of the postseason didn’t have as many rounds. That’s why it’s all relatively recent players to populate this list.<\/p>\n

It’s still a cool club for Bregman to be a part of, though.<\/p>\n

He got the first 99 of those appearances with the Houston Astros, and Tuesday marked his first postseason game with Boston.<\/p>\n

The Red Sox will be hoping there’s at least a few more. They’d love to advance past their huge rival New York Yankees and get a chance at the Toronto Blue Jays in the ALDS. Bregman will have to play a key part in that.<\/p>\n
