The Bay Area will be well represented in this weekend\u2019s WNBA All-Star events including the 3-point contest, skills challenge and the game itself.<\/p>\n
Walnut Creek-native Sabrina Ionescu<\/a> is among the five players in the shooting contest Friday night. Caitlin Clark, the captain of one All-Star team, announced Thursday<\/a> that she will miss the 3-point contest and the game itself after aggravating a groin injury this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ionescu set the all-time single-round record for WNBA and NBA 3-point contests with a score of 37 points at the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game.
