KANSAS CITY —\u00a0Fourteen Summit League men’s basketball players from the 2024-25 academic year were honored as recipients of the NABC Honors Court Thursday. North Dakota State led a group of four Summit League teams represented with six honorees. Omaha and South Dakota State followed with three, while St. Thomas had a pair among the 2,400-plus players that earned the distinction from all levels of college basketball.<\/p>\n
Those four teams also earned NABC Team Academic Excellence awards after finishing the academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men\u2019s basketball players who finished the 2023-24 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.<\/p>\n
\u201cEducation is one of the NABC\u2019s five core values, and we are proud to recognize the academic accomplishments of these programs and individual student-athletes across our sport,\u201d said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. \u201cThe dedication and hard work of these athletes, along with their coaches and support staff members who prioritize academic success, deserves to be widely celebrated.\u201d<\/p>\n
