The Giants selected Jaxson Dart 25th overall.<\/p>\n<p>Dart made his first start for the Giants on Sunday, a 21-18 upset of the Chargers, while Shough has seen only three snaps in mop-up duty. <\/p>\n<p>The Giants play the Saints on Sunday, and Dart admits he hasn\u2019t forgotten the quarterback-needy Saints passed on him. (Of course, the Giants passed on Dart, too, by picking defensive end Abdul Carter with the third overall pick.)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/46452533\/jaxson-dart-saints-draft-snub-always-chip-your-shoulder\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">always a chip on your shoulder<\/a> any time something like that happens,\u201d Dart said, via Jordan Raanan of ESPN. \u201cBut yeah, I\u2019m just going to go out there and play as hard as I can.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Saints showed interest in Dart, who had multiple visits with the team in the pre-draft process. They had Dart believing he might end up in New Orleans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, I felt like my visit with them went good,\u201d Dart said. \u201cYou kind of have thoughts in your head about what options are realistic, and I felt that was a place that could\u2019ve panned out. But things didn\u2019t work out that way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dart ended up where he needed to be and where he most wanted to be.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love it here. There\u2019s not a place that I\u2019d rather be,\u201d Dart said. \u201cI love just how passionate people are outside the facility, in the facility. I like the attitude the East Coasters have. It\u2019s a lot of fun.
