\n\tIt may have been new creative director Jonathan Anderson<\/a>\u2019s first women\u2019s show for the house of Dior<\/a>, but BTS\u2019 Park Jimin was the one who sent the crowd into a frenzy.<\/p>\n

\n\tThousands of fans waited for hours in the sun outside the venue, holding signs, banners and balloons \u2014 chanting, screaming and hoping to catch a glimpse of the star.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI think it will be fun, because it\u2019s been a while. More than two years,\u201d Jimin told WWD. The BTS main dancer has been serving mandatory military service in the South Korean army since 2023 and was discharged in June. \u201cI have high expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMonica Barbaro had arguably the best seat in the house right next to Jimin. The flurry of photographers surrounding him was a bit overwhelming for the actress.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was warned, and by that I mean to calm down,\u201d she joked. The actress listened to BTS on the way to the show venue at the Jardin des Tuileries to get in the mood. She admitted she\u2019s not a K-pop expert, but gets into it when she needs a jolt of pre-fashion show energy.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe couldn\u2019t attend when \u201cTop Gun: Maverick\u201d premiered in Seoul, but she\u2019s been \u201cdying to check it out\u201d ever since.<\/p>\n

\n\tBarbaro has attended several Dior<\/a> shows and was named a brand ambassador last February. But she met Dior\u2019s new creative director via Luca Guadagnino, while working on his upcoming film \u201cArtificial.\u201d Anderson did the costumes for the film.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere couldn\u2019t be a better way to meet the creative director of the brand you\u2019re an ambassador of,\u201d she said. \u201cIt was just such a wildly luxurious experience to get to meet him at Luca\u2019s home, and he also just made it very comfortable immediately. Luca is such a good cook, and we all had a great time working on the film.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFilming wrapped two weeks ago in Italy, and the release date remains to be seen.<\/p>\n

\n\tJuliette Binoche did recently make a trip to South Korea<\/a>, to promote her documentary film \u201cIn-I In Motion\u201d at the Busan Film Festival. Binoche, who has been friends with Anderson since he took the reins at Loewe, has been making the festival circuit including San Sebastian, Spain, as well as an appearance at the film school in Beijing, and is off to Rio de Janeiro on Thursday and then Morelia, Mexico, to promote her directing debut.<\/p>\n

\n\tGreta Lee was one of first ambassadors Anderson appointed when he joined the house, an honor Lee called \u201coverwhelming.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI am just so proud and so excited. I feel like I am at my own wedding and prom and bar mitzvah, and I just cannot be happier,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t even have enough time to express my deep love and gratitude to him, just for being alive, for existing and for all of the contributions he\u2019s made, not only to fashion, but to art at large. And it\u2019s also just great to have a fellow cohort in terms of our creative minds and the things that we\u2019re interested in,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe debuted Anderson\u2019s Dior in Venice with \u201cHouse of Dynamite\u201d and will be hitting the red carpet for \u201cTron: Ares\u201d in October, and is planning a Dior wardrobe (a Dior-drobe?) for the press tour.<\/p>\n

\n\tRashida Jones was caught in the frenzy backstage waiting to greet Anderson, and trying to find a spot outside of the rush.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe has liked the K-pop tunes she\u2019s heard but was feeling measured. The crowd\u2019s constant roar could still be heard inside the venue.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBut I don\u2019t think I\u2019m this level of fan,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen you hear this, you feel like you\u2019ve never been a fan of anything in your entire life. It\u2019s really like \u2018peak level\u2019 fan,\u201d she said. Is there any group she\u2019d scream this loud for? \u201cI\u2019m really a \u201990s girl, so it would probably be Jodeci for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJones was in an Anderson original, before it even hit the runway, in a velvet blazer embroidered with spring-y flowers. \u201cI love it, it makes me so happy,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\n\tTracee Ellis Ross is prepping for a second season of her travel show \u201cSolo Traveling,\u201d in which she travels, well, solo.<\/p>\n

\n\tHer favorite part of the experience was the way it connected with people. \u201cThe response was my favorite part,\u201d she said. \u201cMore people identified with it than I think I imagined [beforehand]. And it was more than just a woman traveling alone. I think it was, and is, a show that\u2019s less about travel and more about how you can be yourself out in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCharlize Theron made a late entrance, while other guests including Jennifer Lawrence, Mikey Madison, Johnny Depp and Jisoo entered into Anderson\u2019s new world.<\/p>\n
