\n A hub at a Lancaster leisure centre has been renamed in memory of a popular class instructor passed away earlier this year.\n <\/p>\n
Sue Taylor died in June, and dedicated 20 years to Lancaster City Council, beginning her career in the finance team before moving to Salt Ayre, where she became a much-loved fitness instructor known for her energy, kindness, and ability to make everyone feel welcome.<\/p>\n
Sue was described as “the brightest soul” and praised for her “boundless positivity”.<\/p>\n
Now, The Hub at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre has been officially renamed in tribute to her.<\/p>\n
The newly named Sue Taylor Hub was opened last week with Sue’s family, gym members and staff from Salt Ayre as a legacy to Sue.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Lancaster City Council added: \u2018\u2019Sue inspired countless members and colleagues alike and her passion for teaching Body Balance was unmatched.<\/p>\n
“Sue was a cherished part of the Salt Ayre family \u2013 as a dedicated member of our centre staff and a much-loved class instructor. Sue\u2019s warmth, positivity and infectious energy lit up every space she was in, and it was truly a joy to know her.<\/p>\n
“Sue made a lasting impact on so many of us.
