The Pittsburgh Penguins roster of NHL hopefuls largely outplayed and beat an NHL roster for the second straight game, and PHN was in the barn in Buffalo for the full story as some prospects\u2019 chances rose, while others fell. Elsewhere in the Daily, the Edmonton Oilers acquired a goalie, the first of the acquitted Team Canada players is reportedly about to sign an NHL contract, TSN put Penguins general manager Kyle Dubas on their \u201cunder pressure\u201d list, and the New Jersey Devils splashed the cash on Luke Hughes.<\/p>\n
The Daily is a little late today. The Penguins\u2019 postgame video took a little while to complete (if you watch it, you\u2019ll see one reason), and I could swear the universe added 50 miles to the journey. This writer needed at least 3.5 hours of sleep because there is a Penguins practice this morning\u2013the camp will officially be down to two groups.<\/p>\n
