The bromance between Shep Rose<\/a> and Whitney Sudler-Smith<\/a> is still very much alive.<\/p>\n

Fans got another peek at the friendship on Tuesday, September 30, as Shep closed out his birthday month with a trip across the pond. The Southern Charm<\/a> cast member shared the London getaway in a series of Instagram Stories, which included a photo of him and Whitney looking quite dapper outside an exclusive gentlemen’s club in St James.<\/p>\n

\u201cWonderous lunch at venerable [White\u2019s],\u201d the original post was captioned.<\/p>\n

Whitney, who studied at England\u2019s Oxford University, also gave a shoutout to his friend Alex Brunner and the \u201clegendary\u201d Lord Robert Hanson, who accompanied him and Shep to lunch.<\/p>\n

What had Shep Rose asking, “What the F is that?” during his London trip<\/p>\n

Shep touched on the afternoon get-together in an earlier Instagram video in which he expressed his distaste for a popular UK hairstyle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cJust had a nice late lunch and day in London with Whitney and his buddies,\u201d he began. \u201cAnd I\u2019m starting to see a haircut around London \u2014 and maybe Great Britain, in general \u2014 where it looks like someone sawed a period at the end of a sentence in half and stuck it on top of people\u2019s heads\u2026 I\u2019m wondering, what the F is that? Who thinks that\u2019s attractive or appealing? Not that you do everything to be attractive and appealing, but let\u2019s just say this: If it was an animal in the wild trying to attract a mate, it would be a long, lonely winter. That\u2019s my opinion. I could be wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shep Rose attends Chelsea F.C. game with Whitney Sudler-Smith<\/p>\n

Shep ended the day at the Stamford Bridge stadium, where he and Whitney watched the Chelsea vs. Benfica soccer game. Shep said he became a member of The Blues (Chelsea FC\u2019s fanbase) during his days of\u00a0selling real estate in the United Arab Emirates<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a Chelsea fan from way back,\u201d he said while in the stands. \u201cWhen I lived in Dubai, my friend was a huge Chelsea fan. He\u2019s a Brit. So, here I am carrying on the tradition. Very excited.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shep also shared highlights of the September 30 match, which saw Chelsea defeat Benica, 1-0.<\/p>\n

The duo reflected on their friendship\u00a0during a 2018 episode of the\u00a0Southern Charm After Show<\/a>, admitting they both enjoyed being provocative.<\/p>\n

\u201cShep and I feel a compulsion to be a bit shocking,\u201d Whitney said. \u201cWhich I think is our charm or downfall, however you want to look at it. But we have fun because there\u2019s nothing he and I can say or do that will offend the other person\u2026 We find humor in each other\u2019s actions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shep agreed.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust add alcohol and watch us ruin everything,\u201d he joked. \u201cWhitney is very knowledgeable, very bright. He\u2019s actually too smart for his own good sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Days before heading to London, Shep rang in his birthday with a guys\u2019 trip to Farmingdale, New York<\/a>. The South Carolina native attended the 2025 Ryder Cup golf competition at the Bethpage Black course and was joined by fellow Southern Charm-ers Austen Kroll<\/a> and Craig Conover<\/a>.
