{"id":200109,"date":"2025-10-03T19:47:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-03T19:47:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/200109\/"},"modified":"2025-10-03T19:47:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-03T19:47:09","slug":"catholic-artist-creates-charlie-kirk-sculpture-for-ave-maria-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/200109\/","title":{"rendered":"Catholic artist creates Charlie Kirk sculpture for Ave Maria University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-beyondwords-marker=\"e8a037f5-7446-4ecb-bc6c-774275bf4b8e\">Timothy Schmalz, whose Catholic and pro-life sculptures are displayed around the world, created a memorial sculpture of Charlie Kirk that soon will be displayed at Ave Maria University.<\/p>\n<p data-beyondwords-marker=\"c1ef86b6-676d-4201-8da2-4d4ea540b860\">\u201cThe days after the murder of Charlie Kirk, Pope Leo was quoted saying he was praying for him and his family,\u201d Schmalz <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/feed\/update\/urn:li:activity:7377360560666939392\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">wrote<\/a> on his LinkedIn profile Sept. 26. \u201cThe day after this tragedy I started this sculpture of Charlie. This is in a sense my visual prayer.
