\nWire 3 is once again expanding their Coastal Florida footprint, with customers in Port St. Lucie now gaining access to the company\u2019s network.<\/p>\n

Households and businesses in Port St. Lucie, located along Florida\u2019s eastern coast, have gained access to Wire 3\u2019s fiber-optic internet.<\/p>\n

The announcement this week from Wire 3 is the result of a $12 million investment, the internet service provider (ISP) said.<\/p>\n

According to Wire 3, the company\u2019s offerings of speeds up to ten gigabits per second are \u201cten times faster than traditional cable offerings.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, Wire 3 now joins communities like Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Holly Hill, New Smyrna Beach, and Edgewater in Wire 3\u2019s footprint.<\/p>\n

Jai Ramachandran, the CEO of Wire 3, said the Florida-based company remains committed to investing in Florida\u2019s infrastructure.<\/p>\n

\u201cInvesting in Port St. Lucie reflects our ongoing mission to strengthen connectivity for homes and businesses alike,\u201d Ramachandran said.<\/p>\n

As the seat of St. Lucie County, the city has over 200,000 residents, according to U.S. Census records.<\/p>\n

Wire 3 says the work in Port St. Lucie also reflects their wider mission to create \u201c10-Gig cities.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in August, Wire 3 began\u00a0a privately funded $100 million undertaking<\/a> to bring their fiber internet network to areas of Lake County, Florida.<\/p>\n

The project targets Eustis, Leesburg, Mount Dora, and Tavares, and is intended to deliver symmetrical speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second to homes and businesses.<\/p>\n
