Chili\u2019s is axing some popular items from its kids and dessert menus while also rolling out a new offering aimed at keeping customers satisfied.<\/p>\n
In late September, customers in the Reddit community r\/Chilis expressed concern after a user leaked a photo that appeared to reveal the\u00a0casual dining chain\u2019s\u00a0new menu.<\/p>\n
Notable removals include the Kids Pepperoni Pizza and Kids Cheese Quesadillas, as well as the Mini Molten dessert.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The changes drew mostly negative reactions from the community.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo more kids\u2019 quesadillas! That\u2019s my daughter\u2019s fav!\u201d one Redditor lamented. \u201cCan they bring back the chocolate shake lol I\u2019m craving one.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNow that they are taking the quesadilla off, they have taken everything my son would eat off of the menu,\u201d another customer said. \u201cFirst the oranges, then the corn on the cob and now the quesadilla.\u201d<\/p>\n
Others were focused on the Mini Molten, which they described as an\u00a0ideal dessert\u00a0due to its small portion size.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not letting my kid have a full Molten, that\u2019s way too much,\u201d one user wrote. \u201cThe Mini Molten was perfect for the two of us to share.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNo more Mini Molten??? My daughter will be devastated,\u201d another said. \u201cShe loved having her \u2018own\u2019 dessert.\u201d<\/p>\n

The restaurant chain recently rolled out new items like the Southwestern Queso and chips. Chili’s<\/p>\n
Others were perplexed as to why Chili\u2019s would remove the\u00a0kids\u2019 quesadilla,\u00a0considering that it\u2019s a simple dish to make.<\/p>\n
\u201cYeah I\u2019m really confused on that,\u201d one person wrote. \u201cWe have tortillas and we have cheese. Why would they discontinue it?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is literally two tortillas baked with cheese,\u201d another chimed in. \u201cThey don\u2019t even fry them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fox News Digital confirmed the news with a Chili\u2019s spokesperson, who said the changes were part of a streamlining process.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs part of our ongoing simplification efforts, we are removing Mini Moltens in favor of full-sized portions, and will also be eliminating Kids Pepperoni Pizza and Kids Cheese Quesadillas,\u201d the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
Kids Cheese Pizza will remain as an option on Chili\u2019s kids menu.\u201d<\/p>\n
The chain will begin rolling out its new\u00a0Southwestern Queso\u00a0on Oct. 7, the spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Southwestern Queso will replace Chili\u2019s Skillet\u00a0Beef\u00a0and White Skillet\u00a0Quesos.<\/p>\n
It is crafted using \u201cAmerican and cheddar cheeses with fire-roasted green chilies, onions and a hint of lime for bold, craveable flavor,\u201d per the company.<\/p>\n
