World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul four-putted the 72nd hole to hand the Kroger Queen City Championship<\/a> to Charley Hull. The upbeat Thai player looked on in disbelief as a nervous Hull knocked in a short birdie putt to seal her third career victory.<\/p>\n

The LPGA has now had 25 different winners in 2025 \u2013 with no repeats.<\/p>\n

“I guess it’s not over until the fat lady sings,” said Hull, “but I was shaking over that last putt because I just didn’t expect it.”<\/p>\n

England’s Hull led by two at the turn, but a couple of wayward tee shots on the back nine cost her dearly. Thitikul, meanwhile, knocked in the must-make putts early on the inward nine and looked poised to collect her second title of the season.<\/p>\n

Thitikul took the solo lead for the first time on the 14th hole, lost it, and then grabbed it again going into the 72nd hole.<\/p>\n

But then the most consistent player on tour \u2013 and one of the best putters \u2013 watched it all unravel after a wild four-putt bogey on the par-5 18th.<\/p>\n

Both Hull and Thitikul closed with 4-under 68s at TPC River’s Bend. Hull finished at 20-under 268 for the week while Thitikul was 19 under.<\/p>\n

Former top-ranked amateur Lottie Woad, who won her first start as a pro in July at the ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open, gave it a nice run on Sunday with a smooth 66 to finish solo third. Woad also tied for eighth at the AIG Women’s British Open and finished T-15 earlier this month at the FM Championship.<\/p>\n

Former No. 1 Nelly Korda looked poised to strike early in the afternoon as she stared down an eagle putt on the par-5 11th. A birdie pulled her to within two strokes of Hull, but it didn’t last. Korda reeled off three consecutive bogeys on Nos. 12-14 to drop down the board. A closing 70 put her in tie for fifth, five shots back. She remains winless for the season.<\/p>\n

It’s been a year of strange headlines for Hull, who nearly won a major in Wales but also suffered a number of health problems, including a recently torn ligament.<\/p>\n

“When I was younger,” said Hull, “if I fell over my dad would always be like, you break anything? No? Well just stand back up then. I’d be like, yeah, true.”<\/p>\n

She’s back up once again, and now in the winner’s circle. She earned $300,000 for the victory<\/a>.<\/p>\n
