ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – DeKalb County police need your help identifying some burglary suspects focusing on a small perimeter in Decatur.<\/p>\n
Police said they\u2019ve been breaking into homes along Second Avenue, Tilson, McAfee, Candler and Whites Mill Roads for a year now.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were just about to go to bed and then you get a notification for the camera in the basement. That\u2019s a little sus if you will,\u201d said Matthew Dellaria, a homeowner.<\/p>\n
Matthew Dellaria said his home has been hit before, with the latest being Friday and others say they\u2019ve experienced similar things. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve had people come and take stuff out of our carport in the middle of the day with both of us home with cars in the driveway,\u201d said Dellaria.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were wondering when it was going to happen to us, it\u2019s been happening to everybody else, so we just figured it was a matter of time,\u201d said Aaron Kelly, whose home was also targeted.<\/p>\n
Nathan Freeze tell us he was gone when a neighbor alerted him.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy neighbor to my left Phillip gives me a call, tells me \u2018Hey, your sirens are going off. Don\u2019t go out there, it\u2019s not a false alarm,\u2019\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Now he has lost that comfortable sense of security and he\u2019s urging DeKalb police to make an arrest fast.<\/p>\n
\u201cYour constituents don\u2019t feel safe in their own homes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m invested in this community. I want to stay here, I want to raise a family here, and it\u2019s getting harder and harder to stand on that and convince the people I love that this is the right choice,\u201d said Freeze.<\/p>\n
DeKalb County police said there were no updates on the case yet.<\/p>\n
