Nine Tri-Cities businesses have emerged from a competitive field of applicants to be named this year\u2019s Best Places to Work.<\/p>\n
Each year, the Tri-Cities Area Journal of Business shines a spotlight on the region\u2019s top employers who are creating exceptional workplace cultures that truly stand out.<\/p>\n
To ensure a fair and rigorous evaluation, the Journal of Business partners with Workforce Research Group, a nationally recognized firm that specializes in measuring employee satisfaction and engagement across the U.S.<\/p>\n
Participating organizations go through an in-depth survey process that puts their workplace practices to the test \u2013 and this year\u2019s honorees rose to the top.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt isn\u2019t a popularity contest. Employees are ranking their employers through these anonymous surveys,\u201d said Tiffany Lundstrom, associate publisher for sales at the Journal of Business.<\/p>\n

A Nov. 13 awards program will reveal which of the nine companies ranked highest on the list.<\/p>\n
The breakfast event, which runs from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., features keynote speaker Greg Kettner, who will talk about cultivating a vibrant \u201cWorkHappy\u201d culture in the workplace.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Best Places to Work event is more than an awards ceremony. It\u2019s a chance to be inspired by the region\u2019s top employers, connect and network with local leaders and recognize the people-first cultures that drive success. You won\u2019t want to miss it,\u201d Lundstrom said.<\/p>\n
Lundstrom said another benefit of attending the ceremony is to learn more about what it takes to be named a Best Place to Work so companies can plan to participate in the program next year.<\/p>\n
