The Hall of Famer Martinez is enjoying the Brewers’ style of play.<\/p>\n “This time of the year, pitching, defense and timely hitting is what gets you to win and this is what exactly describes the Milwaukee Brewers,” Martinez said. “They don’t strike out.”<\/p>\n On social media earlier this week, Martinez praised the Brewers’ ability to make contact and picked Milwaukee to win its first World Series.<\/p>\n “I believe in the Milwaukee Brewers,” the Hall of Famer added. “I really believe this is a team that is going to cause hazard against any team.”<\/p>\n Advertisement<\/p>\n Though they allowed three solo home runs to the Cubs’ lineup, the Brewers scored nine runs in their Game 1 victory <\/a>without hitting the ball out of the ballpark.
