Lola Young is taking a break after a scary onstage collapse over the weekend.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old British singer-songwriter announced on her Instagram, \u201cI\u2019m going away for a while. It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cThank you for a all the love and support. I\u2019m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know. Obviously you will be entitled to a full refund.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI really hope you\u2019ll give me a second chance once I\u2019ve had some time to work on myself and come back stronger,\u201d she concluded. \u201cLove you all, Lola x.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cMessy\u201d singer was scheduled to perform through next June across the U.S. and the U.K.<\/p>\n

Lola\u2019s decision to take a break comes after she collapsed on stage mid-performance at the All Things Go Music Festival in N.Y.C on Sept. 27.<\/p>\n

According to People Magazine<\/a>, she told the audience during her set she had “a tricky couple of days,” saying that “sometimes life can really make you feel like you can’t continue.”<\/p>\n

She continued, saying she decided to continue with her performance. “Sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade.”<\/p>\n

Lola reassured fans on her Instagram stories she was \u201cdoing OK now\u201d after the incident.<\/p>\n

The singer has been open about her mental health and addiction struggles in the past, telling The Guardian<\/a> earlier this year, \u201cIt makes you more empathetic about other people that have gone through that.
