The 2026 NBA All-Star Game will \u201cwill go on as planned\u201d at the Intuit Dome despite the\u202fongoing investigation\u202finto the\u202fClippers\u202fand their \u201cpotential salary cap circumvention<\/a>,\u201d according to Carter Bahns of CBSSPORTS.com. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver yesterday said that the league has \u201cgiven no thought\u201d to moving the Feb. 15 event in the wake of the F\u202fKawhi Leonard\u202fsaga<\/a>, wherein the Clippers \u201cmay have done business\u202fwith the outside company Aspiration to violate league rules.\u201d Silver said, \u201cPlanning for the All-Star Game and the surrounding activities are operating completely independently of the ongoing investigation.\u201d Bahns noted it would be a \u201cmassive undertaking\u201d to relocate the event on such short notice. The Clippers investigation began in September, so any swap in venues \u201cwould come less than five months\u201d ahead of All-Star<\/a> weekend (CBSSPORTS.com, 10\/6<\/a>).<\/p>\n
