The <a href=\"https:\/\/wpial.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WPIAL<\/a> is well known for producing many of the greatest players in the history of football, including George Blanda, Mike Ditka, Aaron Donald, Tony Dorsett, Bill Fralic, Ty Law, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Joe Namath, and Darrell Revis among the most legendary.<\/p>\n<p>The WPIAL Football Report is your resource for the Aliquippa Quips Report, Beat the Expert, and rankings by Class, all brought to you by local sports writer Mike Drakulich (@PghSportsNation), who also covers Pitt Football and the Pittsburgh Steelers for <a href=\"https:\/\/NGSCSports.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NGSCSports.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Aliquippa Quips Report<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-67503\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/quips.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"181\" height=\"220\"\/><\/p>\n<p>WPIAL Championships (20) | PIAA Championships (5)<\/p>\n<p>Week Six: Aliquippa Quips (4-2) vs Blackhawk Cougars (3-4), 7:00 PM<\/p>\n<p>Marques Council returned to action and threw two touchdown passes to Qa\u2019lil Goode, as the Quips defeated West Allegheny 19-7.<\/p>\n<p>This week Aliquippa (4-2) will host the Blackhawk Cougars (3-4) at The Pit at Heinz Field.<\/p>\n<p>Council has now thrown for 983 yards with nine touchdowns and four interceptions. He\u2019s also rushed for 190 yards.<\/p>\n<p>Josh Lay leads the team with 22 catches for 405 yards and one touchdown. Goode is 2nd on the team with 17 receptions for 370 yards and six touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>J.J.
