In honor of Robert’s role in the upcoming Zootopia 2, out Nov. 26, the wildlife conservationist and his partner Witney Carson performed the Cha Cha to Shakira’s \u201cTry Everything\u201d from the first Zootopia film.\n<\/p>\n
“As soon as Shakira comes on, the hips can’t lie,” Robert said in his intro package.\n<\/p>\n
After their dance, host Alfonso Ribeiro acknowledged that the audience was “on their feet.”\n<\/p>\n
“Robert, man, you just have that Irwin aura,” Derek said. “You really do. You can’t help but smile when I watch you perform.”\n<\/p>\n
Derek said Robert needed to work on his arm movements, while Carrie Ann said he needed to “flow your movements” more. “I see you flexing your muscles,” she added.\n<\/p>\n
When the pole came down during the dance, Bruno said he thought the duo were going to recreate Shakira and Jennifer Lopez’s Super Bowl halftime show.\n<\/p>\n
“It was clean, it was clear, it was sweet,” he said. “I liked it very, very much.”\n<\/p>\n
When Julianne asked Robert about the koala they have named after Derek at the Australia Zoo, Robert said they next need an animal named after Witney.\n<\/p>\n

Derek acknowledged Hilaria’s “amazing talent” but said he wanted more Quickstep in their routine.\n<\/p>\n

During her intro package, Alix’s pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy said he wanted to make the TikTok star the villain for Disney Night since everyone would expect her to be a princess.\n<\/p>\n
For their dance, Alix and Val performed a Viennese Waltz to \u201cOnce Upon a Dream\u201d from Maleficent, and Alix’s outfits was complete with the villain’s signature horns.\n<\/p>\n
Derek called the dance “mesmerizing” and “spellbinding,” while also complimenting Alix’s “pivots” as “beautiful.”\n<\/p>\n
“This was your best dance,” he said.\n<\/p>\n
Bruno similarly called the dance “gripping” and “haunting.” He acknowledged Alix’s acting skills and said she “became someone else.”\n<\/p>\n
Carrie Ann took a moment to ask Alix how she felt after the dance, and she responded, “Oh my God, that was so empowering. It was so fun.”\n<\/p>\n
Carrie Ann added that Alix’s “artistry is really coming out,” and Val cheekily said that Alix has got “a little villain in her.”\n<\/p>\n

During his Salsa to “Bop to the Top” from the original High School Musical movie, Scott channeled Ryan Evans \u2014 his love interest in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series \u2014 and his partner Rylee channeled Sharpay Evans.\n<\/p>\n
Afterwards, Carrie Ann told Scott “that’s what happens when the confidence kicks in.”\n<\/p>\n
“You razzle dazzled us,” she continued. “You two together [are] wonderful.”\n<\/p>\n
While Derek mentioned that he and sister Julianne are often compared to Ryan and Sharpay, he said Scott and Rylee “are way better. You guys are so good.”\n<\/p>\n

This week Dylan showed off his footwork while dancing a Quickstep with partner Danielle to \u201cLife Is a Highway\u201d from Cars.<\/p>\n
“I love this song,” Dylan said during his intro package. “This whole experience is like a roadtrip. I want this dance to feel like we’re stuck on the side of the road and we get out and start dancing.”\n<\/p>\n
After their dance, which opened in a mechanic shop, judge Derek Hough told Dylan he wanted him to work on turning his head sharper to go to “the next level.”<\/p>\n
Bruno Tonoili, meanwhile, said Dylan is “hitting the highway to the final” while complimenting his footwork.\n<\/p>\n
“When I watch you dance, I’m truly engaged,” said Carrie Ann Inaba. “What I’m noticing is you’re not just doing the movements, you’re understanding the momentum. That is going to be taking you very far.”\n<\/p>\n
