A new Chick-fil-A is coming to Chelsea, according to Mayor Tony Picklesimer\u2019s recent State of the City address.<\/p>\n
The new restaurant is part of a new $75M development<\/a> in the area. Called the Chelsea Plaza, the development will sit off of the eastbound side of Hwy 280 near the intersection of Chesser Plantation Lane and the highway.<\/p>\n Chelsea Plaza\u2019s anchor tenant<\/p>\n The new Chick-fil-A at Chelsea Plaza will mark the 100th location within the state of Alabama, according to the Shelby County Reporter<\/a>.<\/p>\n However, it will be a little bit of a wait before you can get your hands on a fresh chicken sandwich at Chelsea Plaza.<\/p>\n According to Mayor Picklesimer, the project will require significant dirt work including a new connector road, meaning it will likely take 18 to 24 months to complete.
