Steven Gerrard is the latest high-profile figure to appear on Rio Ferdinand<\/a>\u2019s YouTube channel since the Manchester United legend<\/a> left TNT Sports.<\/p>\n Ex-United defender Ferdinand had been a longstanding pundit for TNT Sports dating all the way back to when it was operating as BT Sport for its club football coverage.<\/p>\n The ex-England international stepped down from his role at the broadcaster after the Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan in May.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Why Gary Lineker and Micah Richards \u2018always\u2019 agree on one repeated Man Utd talking point compared with rival team<\/a><\/p>\n Rio Ferdinand\u2019s full focus for his media duties in football has now been predominantly dedicated to his \u2018Rio Ferdinand Presents\u2019 podcast brand.<\/p>\n The United legend<\/a> crossed paths with England and Red Devils defender Harry Maguire<\/a> in August before the start of the 2025-26 Premier League season.<\/p>\n Speaking to Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist, Ferdinand insisted that he has now seen the 32-year-old former United captain<\/a> in a \u201cdifferent light\u201d after his interview.<\/p>\n However, the ex-TNT Sports pundit admitted that he had felt there was an \u201cissue\u201d between him and Harry Maguire before he sat down with him for a one-on-one chat.<\/p>\n \u201cI saw Harry Maguire in a totally different light,\u201d Ferdinand said.<\/p>\n \u201cMe and Harry Maguire hadn\u2019t spoken, hadn\u2019t been around each other. I felt there was an issue. I didn\u2019t know he felt like that.\u2019<\/p>\n \u201cHe was so, [he] had such strong views. But again, like just being able to put them in a position where they go, you know what?<\/p>\n \u201cI can relax my shoulders and just let off a little bit.
