WSSC Water said in a release <\/a>a 16-inch diameter water main break was discovered at 5540 Columbia Park in Hyattsville.<\/p>\n The boil water advisory is impacting approximately 11,200 customers, according to WSSC Water, and includes the towns of Cheverly, Seat Pleasant and Capitol Heights.<\/p>\n The utility service said crews have stopped the water flow at the site, adding that no residential customers are without water at present due to the broken water main. Officials did not state an estimated time for repairs to be completed.<\/p>\n WSSC Water said it will open a water distribution center for customers affected by the boil water advisory at the Judith P. Hoyer Early Childhood Center in Cheverly. The station will reopen Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n Residents in the affected areas are being told bring their water to a rolling boil for one minute then allow it to cool before:<\/p>\n Drinking
