\n\tCharli xcx<\/a>\u2018s upcoming A24 film \u201cThe Moment\u201d has unveiled a stacked cast. The pop star turned film aficionado posted a flashy announcement on her social media Thursday, revealing the film\u2019s stars in \u201cBrat\u201d-esque neon lights.<\/p>\n

\n\tDirected by frequent Charli collaborator Aidan Zamiri, \u201cThe Moment\u201d stars Kylie Jenner<\/a>, Alexander Skarsgard<\/a>, Rachel Sennott<\/a>, Rosanna Arquette, Kate Berlant, Rish Shah, Jamie Demetriou, Arielle Dombasle, Hailey Benton Gates, Trew Mullen, Mel Ottenberg, Richard Perez, Isaac Powell, Tish Weinstock, Michael Work\u00e9y\u00e8, Shygirl and A. G. Cook.<\/p>\n

\n\tCharli, who came up with the original idea for the film, leads the cast in a meta role as a rising pop star navigating \u201cthe complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut,\u201d according to the film\u2019s synopsis. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Moment\u201d is written by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, with music by Cook. It\u2019s set to premiere in theaters next year.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn January, Variety exclusively reported<\/a> news of the film, which will be the first under Charli\u2019s own production company, Studio365. \u201cThe Moment\u201d marks the feature directorial debut of Zamiri, who has made a name for himself as a photographer and music video director, having helmed several visuals for Charli, Billie Eilish and Yung Lean in addition to his work with Chalamet (he recently directed this high-concept \u201cMarty Supreme\u201d promo<\/a>) and brands like Nike and Google.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter dominating the music scene last year with her critically and commercially acclaimed sixth studio album \u201cBrat\u201d and its accompanying sold-out tour, Charli has set her sights on conquering the film world. She recently made her acting debut in Pete Ohs\u2019 \u201cErupcja,\u201d which earned strong reviews out of TIFF, and appears in Julia Jackman\u2019s \u201c100 Nights of Hero\u201d and Romain Gavras\u2019 adventure comedy \u201cSacrifice.\u201d Other credits on the horizon include Daniel Goldhaber\u2019s \u201cFaces of Death\u201d remake; Gregg Araki\u2019s \u201cI Want Your Sex\u201d opposite Olivia Wilde, Mason Gooding and Cooper Hoffman; and Cathy Yan\u2019s \u201cThe Gallerist\u201d led by Jenna Ortega, Natalie Portman and Catherine Zeta-Jones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Charli xcx\u2018s upcoming A24 film \u201cThe Moment\u201d has unveiled a stacked cast.
