The 2025 Chicago Bears draft class has its paperwork in order.<\/p>\n

The Bears and wide receiver Luther Burden III, the No. 39 pick<\/a> out of Missouri in April, have agreed to terms on a four-year rookie contract, sources confirmed to the Tribune on Friday. Burden was the last of eight Bears draft picks who needed to finalize his contract.<\/p>\n

The deal is fully guaranteed for $10.965 million, the agency representing Burden told ESPN\u2019s Adam Schefter. The amount of guaranteed money in rookie deals had been a sticking point for this year\u2019s second-round picks, and 30 of the 32 remained unsigned entering this week, including all three Bears second-rounders.<\/p>\n

But now it appears all three will be ready to hit the ground running when practice begins next week. Fellow second-round picks Shemar Turner, a defensive tackle from Texas A&M, and Ozzy Trapilo, an offensive tackle from Boston College, agreed to terms<\/a> Thursday.<\/p>\n

Bears rookies report for training camp Saturday at Halas Hall, while veterans arrive Tuesday. The first practice is Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The team\u2019s five other draft picks all signed their contracts<\/a> months ago. But things became a little more complicated for this year\u2019s second-round picks when wide receiver Jayden Higgins, the No. 34 pick, signed a fully guaranteed contract with the Houston Texans worth $11.7 million on May 8. He became the first player selected outside the first round to receive a fully guaranteed rookie deal.<\/p>\n

Higgins\u2019 contract triggered a leaguewide standoff among second-round picks that continued into this week, but the prolonged wait is over for the Bears. General manager Ryan Poles\u2019 team had more second-round picks than any other team in the 2025 draft.<\/p>\n

Trapilo, the No. 56 pick, is expected to make about $7.7 million over four years, while Turner, the No. 62 pick, should make about $7.2 million. It\u2019s unknown how much is guaranteed in their deals.<\/p>\n
