Following the internal investigation, Del R\u00edo was fired and escorted off the lot, the same day that the alleged assault was reported.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAfter the news of David del Rio\u2019s firing was reported, Leah Lewis shared a message on Instagram Stories <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/10\/matlock-leah-lewis-breaks-silence-david-del-rio-firing-1236575593\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">expressing her gratitude for the support<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLewis posted a picture alongside her mother, adding, \u201cMom is here, we\u2019re moving forward in love and strength.
