After a 3-0 start, Auburn<\/a> has lost its last two<\/a> to open conference play. Ahead of the latest edition of The Deep South\u2019s Oldest Rivalry<\/a>, Tim Tebow says it\u2019s now or never for the Tigers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tebow, along with Roman Harper, assessed No. 10 Georgia<\/a> vs. Auburn while on \u2018The Paul Finebaum Show\u2019 on Friday. He noted that, considering the way their season has gone the past three weeks and with a rivalry game tomorrow night at Jordan-Hare, this is a must-win<\/a> for the Tigers.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re going to see an Auburn team, at home in a crazy environment, that\u2019s going to let everything loose and play with a reckless abandon because it really is do or die for Auburn,\u201d Tebow said. \u201cI think you\u2019re going to see Hugh Freeze<\/a> with a game plan that\u2019s going to be aggressive, have a lot of shots involved, have a lot of trick plays involved<\/a>, trying to be able to manufacture some offense<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for breaking down the game, Tebow and Harper repeatedly brought up the Bulldogs\u2019 defensive front versus Auburn\u2019s offensive line. That\u2019s ironic, though, as Tebow mentioned those have actually been weaknesses on that side of the ball for each team.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you look at this, it\u2019s actually kind of weird of their strengths and weaknesses,\u201d Tebow said. \u201cThe weakness for Georgia\u2019s defense is getting pressure on the quarterback and the weakness for Auburn is protecting their quarterback and not getting Jackson Arnold<\/a>, you know, to have pressure and be sacked in the backfield. And so, what\u2019s going to give in this game?\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the pressure by Georgia on Auburn\u2019s offense is still the key. If they can get it, the Bulldogs can get to a place physically where they can control the game. But if they can\u2019t, the Tigers can be in more manageable situations to take advantage of.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan Georgia\u2019s defense<\/a> get enough pressure on Jackson Arnold? Because he has not been good under pressure, versus when he is protected. It\u2019s just that\u2019s what the game is going to come down to,\u201d Harper said. \u201cAnd then, can Auburn\u2019s defense<\/a> slow down Georgia trying to run the football<\/a>? Because, if Georgia gets the run game going, they\u2019ll be able to win the game and control it that way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you have Cam Coleman<\/a>, you have Singleton<\/a>. You have some weapons that are out wide that, when you get some bump and run man coverage, you\u2019ve got to take advantage\u2026They cannot just do dink and dunk and think they\u2019re going to go 12, 14 plays against this Georgia defense. It\u2019s about creating explosives,\u201d Tebow said. \u201cThis offense has the talent, but they also have to protect their quarterback. They can\u2019t be in second or third and long<\/a>. If you can be in okay second, third and medium, third and short? Now everything is at your disposal, and you can give your weapons a chance to go win.\u201d<\/p>\n

This could be one of those special nights we often see down on The Plains. It\u2019s now on Auburn to give their home crowd what they came for in attempting to pull the upset on the \u2018Dawgs.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got to keep the crowd in it,\u201d Harper said. \u201cWhen you\u2019re at home, they\u2019re going to be juiced up early. They\u2019re retiring Cam Newton\u2019s jersey<\/a>. So, all of these things are going to play into the emotional aspect of it for Auburn, but they\u2019ve got to handle their business on the field.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"After a 3-0 start, Auburn has lost its last two to open conference play.
