\n\tIn 1998, 23-year-old\u00a0Amy\u00a0Bradley\u00a0vanished overnight from the Royal Caribbean\u00a0cruise ship she and her family were vacationing on. A full search of the ship found no trace of the recent college graduate, leading officials to believe Bradley likely jumped or fell overboard on the way to Cura\u00e7ao. Her body was never found, however, and in the ensuing decades multiple people have reported seeing Bradley alive on the Dutch Caribbean island (as well as an alleged sighting in Aruba). Bradley\u2019s family has always dismissed the idea that she fell victim to an accident or to suicide. Amy Bradley Is Missing served up compelling evidence that she may have instead been trafficked off the boat, potentially by crew members.<\/p>\n
\n\tNow a source close to the production claims that additional evidence gathered after the production wrapped lends credence to that theory.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe source says a female bartender onboard the cruise ship has come forward to corroborate this version of events. On the night Bradley went missing, this source says, the bartender was heard exclaiming to passengers and crew, \u201cSe\u00f1orita kidnapped! Se\u00f1orita kidnapped!\u201d The bartender does not speak much English, the source, who spoke with THR on the condition of anonymity, continued.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cThe security people at the time were like \u2018Shut the hell up, what are you talking about?\u2019\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe witness and her story were not mentioned in Amy Bradley Is Missing because her identity was not known at the time. But due to the popularity of the documentary, the bartender has since come forward and is currently being interviewed by investigators.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Bradley family has a whole team looking for Amy. The docuseries influenced the FBI to reopen the case with a new agent, the source said. The FBI, whose activities have been somewhat curtailed due to the government shutdown, did not immediately respond to THR\u2019s request for comment on new developments.<\/p>\n
\n\tIn its most recent statement to THR about the case, the FBI press office stated, \u201cWe have nothing further outside of the seeking information poster.\u201d (Link here<\/a>.) \u201cTips can be submitted via 1-800-CALL-FBI\u00a0or at\u00a0tips.fbi.gov.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe Bradleys have also hired private investigators through what our source believes to be funds raised as a result of the Netflix show. A spokesperson flor the family declined to comment on this story.<\/p>\n \n\tThe FBI and the Bradleys\u2019 PIs are now in Cura\u00e7ao \u201cand other surrounding countries,\u201d the source said.
